Level 2 NVQ Certificate
in Plant Operations
The NVQ Level 2 diploma will allow trainees to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to prepare and operate compact cranes as part of a wider lifting operation.
The NVQ is divided into three Units (QCF641, QCF642, and QCF387A), two of which are mandatory. The third optional unit must be completed but is specific to the type of plant you are seeking qualification for (i.e. Compact cranes).
The qualification is based on producing evidence of competence and can be gained in a number of ways; this will be explained to the candidates during the first assessment visit. The NVQ can be completed in as little as 3 months but there is no specific time limit (we like to ensure the qualification is completed within 12 months).
On successful completion of this course, candidates will be awarded a level 2 blue CSCS card on completion. Candidates must already hold their A66 CPCS card to complete this NVQ.
